Why Parkview Pharmacy? Why compounding?
We realize that your practice is centered on meeting patient needs. At times, you may encounter a non-compliant patient or a patient whose needs cannot be met through traditional medications. Parkview Pharmacy specializes in solving these problems through compounding, which is the traditional method of preparing customized medications to meet unique physician and patient needs.

Here are some of the special services we provide:

• Preparing medications which are commercially unavailable, reformulated, and/or preservative- and dye-free;
• Unique dosage forms and delivery systems;
• Natural hormone replacement therapy, pain management and veterinary services;
• An extensive inventory of bulk chemicals, formulas, and equipment to meet almost any compounding requirement.

We are a member of the Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA), and have undertaken extensive training in the professional area of compounding. We believe that we can provide a valuable service to you and your patients through compounding, meeting those needs that are not being met with commercially available medications.

We only provide compounded medications with a prescription from a licensed prescriber. We want to work with you to individualize a medication therapy for your patients and to ensure the therapy is meeting the desired outcomes.

Veterinarians
Have a cat that refuses to take medicine? A dog that won't get near theirs? Parkview Pharmacy can help with some of your most challenging cases.

Our pharmacists can work with you to pair the most appropriate flavor with the prescribed medicine and the type of animal. For example, we can flavor medication with beef, cheese, chicken, liver and peanut butter flavoring agents for dogs; salmon, sardine and tuna for cats; and alfalfa and carrot crème for horses.

In addition to flavoring, we can compound medication into a variety of dosages formats including: topicals, solutions, suspensions, oral pastes, capsules, and injections. If a small dosage is required for the animal, we can compound the medication into the smaller increment needed, or concentrate a medication for larger animals.

Our Facility
Parkview Pharmacy is equipped with a state-of-the-art compounding facility, complete with a Class 1 clean room and 4-foot laminar flow hood. With this USP 797 compliant facility, we are able to produce sterile compounds.

Safety & Quality Assurance
Our pharmacists have undertaken extensive training in the professional area of compounding and are committed to producing quality medications. Parkview Pharmacy has established policy and procedure guidelines that are followed each and every time a prescription is compounded in our lab.

We have an extensive inventory of bulk chemicals, formulas and equipment to meet your needs. We only use ingredients that are quality-assured through analysis and certification for identification, purity and potency by a graduate chemist at our chemical supplier.
